Brief Bio:
Born and raised in Thessaloniki,  Greece. Completed her undergraduate studies in the department of Mathematics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Entered the graduate school in the Department of Statistics, Case Western Reserve University. PhD thesis was "Tools for Comprehensive Statistical Analysis of Microarray Data".
 
Honors and Awards:
Graduate Dean's Instructional Excellence Award, Case Western Reserve University, 2003-2004.
 
Research Interests:
High dimensional data, genomics and proteomics data, data mining, dimension reduction, graphical methods, design and analysis of experiments, functional data, variable selection methods and ensemble methods.
