Brief Bio:
Professor Robichaud joined the Philosophy Department right at the end of the last century, in fall 1999. While attending the Graduate School of the City University of New York, she was a Medical Ethics Fellow at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. In this capacity, she gained practical experience in clinical bioethics.

In May of 2014, Professor Robichaud assumed the responsibilities as Chairperson for the Department of Philosophy and Comparative Religion, one year after the merger of the Department of Philosophy and the Department of Religious Studies. Professor Robichaud continues to be the Director of the Bioethics Program and in fall 2015, she assumed the duties of Director of Graduate Studies. She teaches courses in bioethics, theoretical ethics and environmental ethics and does research in the areas of bioethics, moral psychology and ethics.

Professor Robichaud is a past President of the Bioethics Network of Ohio and has been a community member of the University Hospital Ethics Committee since 2003 and a member of the Patients Without Proxies Sub-Committee since 2005.
