Brief Bio:
Allyson L. Robichaud joined the Philosophy Department in 1999. During her graduate studies, she was a Medical Ethics Fellow at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City where she gained expertise in bioethics. Professor Robichaud is the Director of the Bioethics Program and she teaches courses in bioethics, theoretical ethics and environmental ethics. She writes in bioethics, moral psychology and ethics and most recently collaborated on the following article:¿Perception of free will: The perspective of incarcerated adolescent and adult offenders.¿ With Laurene, K.R., Rakos, R.F., Tisak, M. S., Robichaud, A.L., & Horvath, M., Review of Philosophy and Psychology, 2, 723-740, 2011.

Professor Robichaud is the recent past President of the Bioethics Network of Ohio and is a member of the University Hospital Ethics Committee.
