Brief Bio:
Dr. Granot has over 25 years of management, administration and leadership experience in a variety of military, business and academic institutions. Over the last decade, he has been on the forefront of higher education eLearning program development and administration by designing, developing and launching the Mobile Accelerated MBA (Mobile AMBA) program at Cleveland State University, in cooperation with Blackboard, McGraw Hill, and Verizon.

Dr. Granot has spent many years as a marketing executive in large multinational corporations in the Unites States, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East. He has also served as an executive and board member in non-profits and has years of experience in fund-raising. Using his trained expertise, he has spoken extensively and internationally to diverse groups of managers, companies, and industrial executive groups on various marketing topics. Dr. Granot received his Ph.D. in marketing from the University of Massachusetts (2006), his Master's in Management from Boston University (2000) and his B.A. from Tel Aviv University.

Dr. Granot has advised numerous companies and non-profits on strategic marketing, branding strategies, qualitative marketing research, customer service, and competitive positioning.

Dr. Granot is also a prolific researcher, and his main research interests are Marketing Strategy, Branding, Retailing, Integrated Marketing Communications, International marketing, and Luxury Goods. Over the last few years, he has focused on understanding the marketing management implications of the major shifts in western markets and the rise of mass affluence. Dr. Granot's doctoral dissertation, focusing on the Victoria's Secret brand and its consumer loyalty, has been published in the Journal of Business Research and featured in newspapers and on NPR.

* CSU McNair Scholars Program - Faculty Mentor - The goal of the CSU McNair Scholars Program is to prepare talented and eligible undergraduates for doctoral studies through involvement in research, seminars, advising, preparation for the Graduate Record Examination, and other intensive scholarly activities. Students who participate in the program come from disadvantaged backgrounds, show strong academic potential in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) disciplines, and are committed to pursuing the Ph.D. degree. The program is named after the late Dr. Ronald E. McNair an African American physicist and NASA astronaut who died in the Challenger explosion in 1986. This program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education.
