Brief Bio:
I am a native speaker of Italian. I have obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages with a concentration on Spanish and Italian from Lake Erie College in Painesville, where I served as the language assistant in Italian. I have later received my Master of Arts in Spanish with a concentration on linguistics from CSU where I worked as one of the Spanish assistants.
My teaching experience includes Spanish and Italian language, literature and culture. My favorite Italian authors are: Luigi Pirandello, Italo Calvino and Elsa Morante. My favorite Spanish writers are: Gabriel García Márquez and Miguel de Unamuno.
Prior to becoming a College Lecturer at CSU, I taught Spanish part-time at Cuyahoga Community College and Lakeland Community College.  
I have studied and visited Costa Rica while finishing my Master in Spanish. I have also traveled to Puerto Rico on vacation and to Spain during a summer abroad program with CSU students.
Within the community, I am the former president and current member of Il Convivio, the Italian club of Lake Erie College. In addition, I am an Italian translator and personal tutor.
I am the faculty advisor to the Italian Club, Ciao, Italia the student organization group of CSU.
I am also a contributing writer for the mounthly newpaper La Gazzetta Italiana: The Italian American voice.

My professional affiliations include being a member of AATI (American Association of Teachers of Italian) and ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of a Foreign Languages)
