| Brief Bio: |
| Dr. Haifeng Qian joined the Levin College of Urban Affairs in 2010 as an assistant professor. His areas of expertise are economic development, economic geography, innovation and entrepreneurship, and public policy. As a consultant at The World Bank, Dr. Qian also worked on energy policy in the context of developing countries. His research has been published in Annals of Regional Science, Economic Development Quarterly, Environment and Planning A, Journal of Economic Geography, Small Business Economics, and Urban Studies. He is an associate editor of Economic Development Quarterly.
