Brief Bio:
Jennifer Alexander has published in the area of administrative responsibility, discretion, nonprofit/public partnerships, and the political capacity of nonprofit organizations. She was awarded the 2001 Outstanding Article Award by "Nonprofit & Voluntary Sector Quarterly." She teaches nonprofit management, organizational behavior, ethics and public administration theory. She holds a Ph.D. in Public Administration and Policy, an M.S. in Geography from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and a B.S.F.S. in Foreign Services from Georgetown University.
 
Honors and Awards:
ASPA Presidential Merit Award, 2008.

Recognition for Grant Funding, Graduate School, Cleveland State University, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007.

2001 Excellence in Undergraduate Education Award, Levin College of Urban Affairs, Cleveland State University.  

2000 Award for Outstanding Article in the Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly.  

1998 Cleveland State University Meritorious Achievement Award for excellence in teaching, scholarship and service.  Award based on achievements of prior year as judged by a committee of college faculty members.
