Brief Bio: |
| Specialization in Early Modern European history, focusing on social and economic issues. Publications on agricultural and industrial developments in the Netherlands between 1650 and 1850. Teaches on 17th and 18th century Europe, and 19th century industrialization. She has also developed an interest in the social history of World War I and teaches a course dealing with the Western Front. During Spring Break 2002, 2004, 2007, and 2009 she took a group of students on a battlefield tour in Belgium and France. |
