Brief Bio:
Dr. Angelova is an Associate Professor in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL). Her area of expertise is ESL writing, pedagogical grammar, and applied linguistics. She recently concluded a U.S. Department of Education grant ($621,000) with teachers from three urban school districts. Currently she is the PI of another federal grant for $1,425 000 that helps teachers from six school districts to get their endorsement in TESOL or Bilingual education. Dr. Angelova has numerous publications and presentations. Articles by her have appeared in a variety of educational and linguistics journals including "Written Communication", "Language and Education" "Foreign Language Teaching" and " Journal of Language Ideology and Education".
