| Brief Bio: |
| Russ has been a college educator in Northeast Ohio for over 18 years. He began teaching in the Cleveland State University Art Department in 1999 as a part-time Lecturer and joined the full-time faculty in 2004. Working in both printmaking and painting, he combines overtones of contemporary Surrealism and the spirit of German Expressionism with a meticulous technique to explore themes of existential despair and emotional conflict. Since 1988, his work has been exhibited in 24 states, Canada, France, China, Korea, Turkey, Denmark, and the UK.
