Brief Bio:
Professor Wing has been nurse for over 35 years and has served as a staff nurse, nurse clinician and as an educator. She has been a faculty member of CSU School of Nursing since 1997. Her area of expertise is medical-surgical nursing and primarily teaches medical surgical nursing courses and those courses that support this nursing specialty; pharmacology and pathophysiology.

She has a great deal of interest in prevention of medication errors in nursing and nursing student's ability to perform 'med math' calculations accurately.  Professor Wing is also interested in implementing the use of simulation in critical care nursing education as a method in which to evaluate clinical decision making and critical thinking. She assisted in the development of the 'Critical Care Simulation Room" that was  opened in Fall 2010 in Julka Hall and also was involved in the development of the Critical Care Nursing Lab in the IM building.

Professor Wing's current research involves assessment of senior nursing students' attitude regarding nurse-physician collaboration.
