| Brief Bio: |
| Primary areas of research and teaching center on theories of juvenile delinquency including both classical and contemporary theories, and police practices. Most of my research has been quantitative, using statistical analysis to examine the causes and correlates of delinquency among adolescents. Recent research has examined factors that shape police responses to calls for service, especially for incidents involving the mentally ill or domestic violence. |
