Brief Bio:
Almabrok Essa is a visiting assistant professor at Cleveland State University. Cleveland, OH, USA. He received his PhD degree in electrical and computer engineering from University of Dayton, Dayton, OH, USA, in 2017. His current research areas include computer vision and machine learning for object detection, tracking and identification, wide area surveillance and scene analysis for security automation and situational awareness, face detection and recognition, facial expression analysis, and remote sensing. Dr. Essa also serves as a technical reviewer for several signal processing journals and international conferences. He is a member of IEEE and SPIE.
