Brief Bio:
Dr. Chih Hao Ku received his Ph.D. in Information Systems & Technology at Claremont Graduate University. His research focuses on (1) how to apply Natural Language Processing techniques to identify relevant information, (2) how to turn big data into useful and actionable knowledge for decision-makers, and (3) how to apply visualization techniques to present a large amount of data. He has published his work in Tourism Management (TM), Journal of Information Systems (JIS), International Journal of Information Management (IJIM), Journal of the American Society for Information Science and Technology(JAIST), Government Information Quarterly (GIQ), Journal of Business Research (JBR), and in the major IS conferences such as Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS) and Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMICS) among others.

Before coming to Cleveland State, he was a tenured Associate Professor and IT Discipline Coordinator in the College of Business & Information Technology at Lawrence Technological University.
