Brief Bio:
Dr. Pethtel received her B.A. in Experimental Psychology from the University of South Carolina and her Ph.D. and M.A. in Developmental Psychology from Bowling Green State University. She has published research that examined aging in relation to well-being, time-perspective, decision making, and culture. Dr. Pethtel's primary focus is teaching. She teaches wide variety of Psychology courses, including Lifespan Development, Abnormal Psychology, Introduction to Psychology, Research Methods, and Psychology of Women and Gender. She has taught these courses and more at Cleveland State University, Bowling Green State University, Youngstown State University, and Saint Francis University.  Outside of her professional work, she also enjoys playing music and disc golf.
