Brief Bio:
Dr. McGinty is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point with a degree in engineering psychology and the University of Illinois at Chicago with a doctor of physical therapy degree. He has completed an APTA accredited orthopaedic physical therapy residency program at the Cleveland Clinic and is a board certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). Dr. McGinty previously worked as a staff physical therapist for Rehabilitation and Sports Therapy at the Cleveland Clinic. He also served as faculty for the Cleveland Clinic Orthopaedic Residency Program.  He has presented as a featured speaker at the Ohio Physical Therapy Association annual scientific symposium and the Cleveland Clinic Sports Health Summit. In addition, he speaks at community outreach events concerning public health and chronic low back pain. Dr. McGinty's professional interests include pain neuroscience education, orthopedics, chronic pain, wellness promotion, and decreasing the over-medicalization of society.
Dr. McGinty lives in Bay Village, Ohio with his wife and three children. In his free time he enjoys Crossfit, kayaking on Lake Erie, reading, and watching football.
