Brief Bio: |
| Dr. Pedro Gerum is an Assistant Professor at the OSM department at CSU. Originally from Brazil, he obtained his Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Rutgers University. Pedro has experience developing and implementing machine-learning applications at American Express for credit risk. He has also worked in the development of deep-learning models for the classification of exoplanets at NASA Ames in California. His team developed Exominer, model that discovered over 300 exoplanets. Pedro's research focuses on transportation optimization, stochastic modeling, game theory, data science, and machine learning. |
