Brief Bio:
I taught at the University of Akron for 2 years in the nursing department.  I taught older adult clinicals.  I have been with Cleveland State University since 2001 teaching  sophomore, junior and senior level courses in medical, surgical, and cardiac clinical settings and Pathophysiology, assessment, framework and older adult diadactic courses. I have taught with NEOMED in their assessment lab. I have worked at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation since I graduated in 1994 in various positions.
Creative and Activities:
June 2011- went to Peru with CCF/CWR medical students and nursing students for a week
May 2013 and 1014- mission trip to Dominican Republic with students and faculty
Research Interests:
Nursing students perception of death and dying.
Teaching Areas:
I teach classroom and clinical areas in sophomore, junior and senior medical, surgical and cardiac care, pathophysiology, assessment and nursing framework.
