Brief Bio:
Professor Green received his LL.M. from Columbia University School of Law where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar; his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law, magna cum laude, where he was the associate managing editor of the University of Baltimore Law Review; and his B.A. from the University of Maryland at College Park.  After law school he was a law clerk for the Hon. Deborah K. Chasanow, U.S. District Court of the District of Maryland and for the Hon. Eric L. Clay, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.  He was a litigation associate with Hogan & Hartson, L.L.P. and with Ober, Kaler, Grimes & Shiver where he focused on employment-related matters.  Professor Green writes in the area of discrimination law, with particular focus on employment discrimination and retaliation.  His article, "Express Yourself: Striking a Balance Between Silence and Active, Purposive Opposition Under Title VII's Antiretaliation Provision," was published in the Hofstra Labor & Employment Law Journal.  His most recent article, "Family, Cubicle Mate and Everyone in Between: A Novel Approach to Protecting Employees From Third-Party Retaliation Under Title VII and Kindred Statutes," will be published in the Quinnipiac Law Review.  Professor Green's current work in progress examines the propriety of the judiciary using a good faith, reasonableness standard to determine whether a viable claim of retaliation exists under Title VII's opposition clause.
