Brief Bio:
I am a historian of religion with several specific interests, including the history of religion in America, African American Religious History, New Religious Movements, ritual studies, and theory and method in comparative religious studies. I teach, or am in the process of developing, courses on American religious history, introduction to religious studies, the role of evil in religious systems, New Religious Movements, and religion and culture.
