Brief Bio:
Dr. Victoria Winbush teaches  courses in human behavior, generalist social work practice, oppression and racism, field seminar in Cleveland State University's School of Social Work.  She also teaches graduate courses in Cleveland State University's Diversity Management Program (DMP).  She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker-Supervisor (LISW-S Ohio) and a Board Certified Coach (BCC) through the Center for Credentialing & Education of the National Board for Certified Counselors. Dr. Winbush holds several post graduate certificates from the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland where she previously served as the organization's Interim Executive Director. Dr. Winbush has served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor and a Research Adviser at the Smith College School for Social Work,and an Adjunct Instructor at CWRU's Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences.  She previously served as the Executive Director of the Multicultural Training Institute for the Mental Health Board in Cuyahoga County.

Dr. Winbush's writing and research interests include understanding how parents of adolescents with mental health disorders seek treatment on behalf of their youth; the impact of diversity dynamics on individuals, families and organizations; the preparation of social work students for culturally competent practice
