Brief Bio:
Wei Wang, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Finance at Monte Ahuja College of Business, received his doctoral degree in finance from University of Colorado - Boulder. Prior to his academic career, he had been a journalist working in regions like Afghanistan and Kashmir.

Dr. Wang has taught undergraduate, master's and doctoral finance courses at University of Colorado - Boulder and University of New Orleans, and, since 2013, Cleveland State University. His research spans an array of corporate finance topics, including IPOs, capital structure, corporate governance, and executive compensation. Dr. Wang has published in highly reputable journals including Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Finance, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Financial Research, Journal of Financial Stability, Financial Review, Financial Management, International Journal of Money and Finance, and Review of Financial Economics.
