| Brief Bio: |
| Dr. Yuping Wu received her Ph.D. in statistics from University of South Carolina in 2006. She also earned her masters degrees in Chemistry and Computer Engineering before her studies in statistics. Her research interest includes quantitative approaches to identify proteins or genes whose relative level of expressions can classify patients individual disease status in public health setting. Her background in science gives her a special interest in collaborating with biologists and chemists to conduct interdisciplinary research and develop robust methods for analyzing data. Yuping is also interested in developing user-friendly software that offers flexibility for data manipulation and display for life science researchers. |
