| Brief Bio: |
| David M. Hicks received an MFA in painting from Indiana University at Bloomington in 2008. Highly influenced by the old masters and contemporary figure painting, the themes in Hicks' work range from introspective narratives to resurrecting the mono-myth of the hero's journey in contemporary experience. David exhibits his "mural scale" multi-figure drawings nationally, internationally, and regionally. Recent exhibitions include shows in Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri, Ohio, North Carolina, and India. Forthcoming, David will be exhibiting his work in Budapest, Hungary.
