Brief Bio:
Kristen W. Pataki, OTD, OTR/L is a clinical associate professor in the Occupational Therapy Doctorate Program and has been teaching since August 2014. She teaches most of the pediatric-based courses in the OTD Program. She has been an occupational therapist for 12 years, practicing in pediatric outpatient, community-based, and school-based settings. She is especially interested in children with sensory processing difficulties, developmental delay, and autism; play-based therapy; aquatic therapy and the use of the water with children; adapted leisure programs; child development; school-based therapy; transition services and independent living; and mental health in  children and adolescents.
In addition to these teaching and research interests, she has a passion for occupational therapy and for teaching our future occupational therapists.
