Brief Bio:
Dr. Isakin has received his Ph.D. degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Calgary. He also holds a BA (Honours) in Math from Perm State University and a MA (Honours) in Economics from the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE). He has worked as the Director of the Center of Applied Economics at the HSE.

Dr. Isakin has publications in Econometric Reviews, Macroeconomic Dynamics, Journal of Macroeconomics, and Journal of Fixed Income.  He has presented his research at the conferences of the European Finance Association, Midwest Finance Association, Canadian Economic Association, Fixed Income and Financial Institutions, and others.
