Brief Bio:
Moataz Soliman is a Visiting Lecturer of Information Systems at Monte Ahuja College of Business. He has received his PhD in Management Information Systems from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada, in 2012. His research interests include the adoption and acceptance of information technology, with special focus on dual-purposed systems such as social media. He is also interested in examining the use of augmented and mixed reality in remote collaboration. He has published in Seoul Journal of Business and has a paper currently under review with the Journal of Organizational and End User Computing. His work has appeared in conference proceedings and presentations including the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), the Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS), the Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management (AOM), and the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada (ASAC). Moataz has taught graduate and undergraduate courses at the Concordia, McGill, and Dalhousie universities in Canada. Prior to coming to Cleveland, he has been an Assistant Professor at Dalhousie University since July 2016.
