Resumed intensive leadership role, weekly meetings of the Annual Conference Committee October 2019-early March 2020 3:00-4:30 at Veterans Adminsitration in support of new Coordinator Lori Longs-Painer. For March 2020, also organized the opening plenary (at which I was assigned to speak), proposed and invited the keynote speaker Dr. Valerie Alloy, organized dozens of table discussions human injustice and structural racism within our fields of practice, based on my original table exercise (https://tinyurl.com/CCCOSWTableExercise), prepared with the technical assistance of CSU MSW-Candidate Karla Fitch, and co-presented a PM workshop to organize the table exercise participant ideas for dismantling structural racism and preventing human injustice (wrongfully unmet needs.) Unfortunately, the March 13 conference cancelled.Please see attached 2013-2017 conference programs. Annual Conference Committee Member 2011-Present: Cuyahoga County Conference on Social Welfare (CCCOSW). Sponsored by CWRU Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences; CSU School of Social Work; Ohio NASW, as of 2015 Center for Community Solutions, as of 2016 Murtis Taylor Human Services System. Held 2011-2015 at CSU at the Student Center, the annual budget of funds flowing to CSU for parking, meals, and facilities for the 400-550 attendees ranged from $15,000-18,000 annually.
