Mediation: Synthesizing often conflicting reviewer feedback to provide authors with clear, constructive, and actionable guidance for revisions. Final Recommendation: After overseeing revisions, the AE makes a formal recommendation (e.g., accept, reject, or revise) to the Editor-in-Chief or a Deputy Editor. Strategic & Community Responsibilities Journal Ambassadorship: Promoting the journal at major academic conferences (such as those hosted by the Strategic Management Society) to recruit high-quality authors and reviewers. Content Development: Identifying emerging research trends and proposing themes for special issues or thematic collections. Policy Input: Attending editorial board meetings to advise on strategic direction, editorial policies, and the journal's evolving aims and scope.
