Professional Development Event Serving Area Educators and University Students During the fall 2013 semester I chaired a workshop titled Introduction to the Standard Celeration Chart (see registration form below). Applied Behavior Analysis Workshop "Introduction to the Use of the Standard Celeration Chart" Date: Saturday, November 9, 2013 Time: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Location: Cleveland State University - Julka Hall 191 Presenter: Michael R. Mayton, PhD, BCBA-D Sponsor: Programs in Special Education at Cleveland State University The workshop will focus on understanding and utilizing celeration charts for educational purposes. Additionally, content will be presented on Precision Teaching. Dr. Mayton, a faculty member at West Virginia University, will present practical content that is focused on developing the skills of service providers. Dr. Mayton has an extensive background in serving persons with developmental disabilities. He has been the founder and director of a university-affiliated project serving young adults with autism. His recent publications involve evaluating single subject design research with persons with severe disabilities.
