Background Info on the CFA Society The mission of the CFA Society Cleveland is to promote professional development, ethics, and awareness through outreach to and engagement with the financial community. The vision of the CFA Society Cleveland is to be a vibrant and widely recognized organization servicing investment professionals as the premiere resource for professional development and networking. CFA Society Cleveland was founded in 1950 and provides investment related programs and services to its Northeast Ohio-based membership. The CFA Society Cleveland has 479 members and is a member society of CFA Institute. My participation The CFA Society Cleveland has approximately 30 events each year. Most of these events involve expert speakers in the investment field. The speakers discuss the most current topics in the investment field. My participation in this group has allowed me to obtain various guest speakers for my classes. This club is a huge networking opportunity for our students, and I recommend all future investment professionals to attend their meetings.
