Chair of the Counseling Psychology Specialty Council (CPSC) which is composed of constituent professional organizations associated with the specialty of counseling psychology within the field of psychology. Maintain membership roster, organize annual meeting, represent the CPSC at the Council of Specialties in Professional Psychology (COSPP) at quarterly and annual meetings, oversight of bylaws revisions. Primary responsibility for leading the initiative to revise and submit Counseling Psychology's Education & Training Taxonomy for approval by the Council of Specialties in Professional Psychology. Facilitate submission of petition to maintain counseling psychology's recognition as a specialty in the field of psychology by the American Psychological Association.
