I serve as CSU's representative on this regional (Ohio and Kentucky) council of Directors of Clinical Education. We work to address issues facing clinical education in physical therapy programs, and especially considering issues affecting the academic institutions in our region. We have 2 formal meetings each year (one in the spring and another in the fall), and also work continuously via e-mail with one another on various initiatives. Within this group, I serve on the Mentorship & Service Committee and the Conference Planning Committee. In service on the Conference Committee, I helped organize a 6 hour Continuing education workshop for local clinical instructors held in Fall 2013. I would estimate that I have put approximately 30 hours into this group in the current academic year.
