Co-chaired major leadership initiative in which 6 faculty members provided leadership training to 10 participants (5 students and 5 early career professionals) each year in order to build a diverse leadership pipeline for SCP. Training included multi day workshops at midyear meetings/conferences followed by training and presentations at the annual APA convention in August. Co-chairs were responsible for advertising, curriculum development and implementation, selection of participants from pools of 58-68 applicants, mentoring of participants and overseeing their projects throughout the year, and program evaluation.
