I was nominated to serve as a member of the Gabriel Rudney Memorial Award for an Outstanding Dissertation in Nonprofit & Voluntary Action Research Committee. Our job entailed reviewing submissions to select the winner - this meant reading through application materials from multiple candidates and their letters of support, followed by meetings to discuss them. We then focused our attention on reviewing dissertations from the three shortlisted candidates to select the winner, following another meeting.
