Museum had a heavily eroded wooden African sculpture without knowledge of when it was created or where in Africa it was made. They were excited to think I might be able to identify it. I looked at it and made an assessment, took photos, compared it with other works and consulted the expert in works from the Baule, then sent my findings to the museum.
