The IUC represents school psychology training programs across the state and works in particular to support the fully funded Ohio school psychology internship program. Presidential duties include creating an agenda and facilitating two meetings/year (one in-person and one virtual); attending 4x/ year Executive Board meetings for the Ohio School Psychologists Association; providing written and in-person testimony to support or oppose Ohio legislation that impacts school psychologists; working with the ODEW to address internship-related issues throughout the state; revision of the IUC constitution, handbook, and internship site approval paperwork; and regularly updating members about changes to licensure, paperwork, and accreditation.
