As a Research Associate at the CMNH, the research done at CSU is brought to the attention of other researchers as well as the greater public. In addition, the methodologies for hyperspectral imaging and Raman spectroscopy that I have developed are made available to researchers at CMNH. Because much of their work focuses on regional mineralogy, palentology, and archeology, this professional service bolsters the greater Cleveland region which includes northeastern Ohio, western Pennsylvania, and parts of West Virginia and Michigan.
