I was elected in a national election to serve a three year term as the secretary for the Division of Career Development and Transition of the Council for Exceptional Children, the special education professional organization. Through this position, I serve on the executive council of the division, attend monthly phone meetings, and attend two annual in-person meetings. As part of my role, I work of various projects and coordinate communication between committees within the organization.
