This semester, I was honored to be asked to be a faculty guest at a special awards luncheon for an undergraduate who was receiving an award for her outstanding athletic contributions to CSU. This student is currently in my EDL 312/512 (children's literature) course. Additionally, I have been asked to be a faculty guest of a graduate student who will be part of a COEHS-sponsored celebratory dinner to honor her laudatory record of scholarly achievement. This student was in my EDL 313/513 (young adult literature) course in the Summer of 2011. I am proud to represent COEHS faculty in both events.
