It is often difficult to assign writing exercises due to large class sizes, full curricula, and the sheer number of hours of grading involved. I participated in an intelligent writing tool pilot that will enable me to assign more writing in my course by (i) learning my assessment habits, (ii) providing students with feedback that aligns to my rubric, and (iii) and scoring my students’ work.
