Biography

David serves as Assistant Professor, Resident Lighting Designer, and Director of Design & Production in the Department of Theatre and Dance at Cleveland State University.  He teaches courses in production design and technology spanning the fields of lighting, sound, and projection. David received his MFA from the University of Arkansas in 2003, and has designed the lighting for a diverse array of projects in both professional and academic venues across the country. Lighting, Projection, and Sound Design for Live Performance and film. Approaches to performance design, production convention, and visual storytelling from around the world. The use of new technologies in performance design.
