Personal profile
Research interests
My research focuses on control systems and applications, electronic printing, and engineering education. I develop advanced control techniques to compensate for mechanical imperfections and environmental uncertainties, with applications ranging from MEMS devices to conventional systems such as power systems, pneumatic actuators, and unmanned aerial vehicles. I also collaborate on application-driven electronic printing for antennas and wearable sensors, and contribute to promoting gender equity among STEM faculty. These collaborations have led to funded projects supported by the Air Force Office of Scientific Research and the National Science Foundation.
Teaching interests
My teaching interests include control systems, electronics, linear and nonlinear systems, circuits, and engineering mathematics. I am dedicated to developing clear and accessible instructional materials and am attentive to students’ learning challenges, working with them both inside and outside the classroom to promote academic success. I also actively advise student organizations, organize hands-on workshops and seminars, and bring external speakers to campus to help prepare students to become practicing engineers and support their professional development.
