Community Health Worker Training Program

Workforce development grant to train CHWs especially from underserved areas and to increase the number of CHWs availalbe for hire. There is also a component focused on deveopment of appretniceship models. In addition CHWs help to focus on speciific disease processes such as mental health, infant mortality and chronic illness.
