Dean's Cornerstone Challenge Winner - IT Certifications for a New Economy

Develop the Capstone course for undergraduate CSU - IST majors (all majors welcome) which will lead to a variety of certifications in User Experience Design, Project Management, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Google Certification, Search Engine Optimization, etc. During the Capstone course, a consulting company (Earnst and Young) will be invited at the beginning of the semester to present a real-world challenge to the students, which they will spend the rest of the semester working on from an interdisciplinary perspective on their team. Periodically throughout the semester, and at the conclusion of the semester, the consulting firm will then review the work products of the students and provide them with feedback and suggestions. This capstone format is designed to provide the students with a real world simulation of what it is like to work on an interdisciplinary team to solve challenging business scenarios with IT assets.
