Description

Survive & Thrive: A New Future for African American Babies which is proposed by Cleveland State University, “Birthing Beautiful Communities and Strategize Me”. The project will focus on accelerating research that inform evidence-based practice to reduce infant mortality among African Americans. The project proposes to harness big data in order to make implications that can be used by interprofessional teams of clinicians, nurses, allied healthcare and social service providers and perinatal support specialists.

There is now opportunity to integrate the curriculum of “Birthing Beautiful Communities” to enable community health workers to provide perinatal support to families. 982,322
