Textbook Affordability Grant

I adopted OpenStax Calculus Volume I in MTH181 and OpenStax Calculus Volume II in MTH182. This switch will save students money that they otherwise would have spent on purchasing a traditional print textbook. It provides accessible resources that are available to all students without imposing a financial burden on students. I aligned our calculus course calendars with the OpenStax textbook sections, chose recommended homework problems from each relevant section of the book, incorporated links to the textbook throughout our online homework system, as well as developed a website for each course to provide additional course materials (learning objectives, review problems, study tips, past exams, and other resources) that will further support use of the new textbook and students' learning in general.
