Grant Details
Description
Please read the following carefully, as the details of this award are unusual:
Dr. Tighe and I were awarded this grant while I was faculty at the University of Utah. I was the project PI and she the co-PI. When I moved to Cleveland State, the University of Utah forced me to name an in-name-only Utah PI, citing university rules. Dr. Tighe, meanwhile, was always the lead on the CSU sub-contract of the award. Therefore, she is likely listed as the PI in the CSU system, and I am not likely listed at all, which does not reflect the grant appropriately.
The portion I am responsible for is a quantitative re-assessment of location affordability in the U.S. Dr. Tighe is responsible for a household survey to validate the modeled, quantitative results.
The primary award, at the University of Utah, was funded for at total of $62,017, not counting the sub-award. I MANAGED AND WORKED ON THE UTAH PORTION OF THE AWARD, even after my arrival here. However, I listed the CSU portion of the funding in the form here, since that's likely the figure CSU is more interested in.
The project also had $129,371 in match, $15,000 of which was in labor and materials by the GCRTA. This brings the project total to $227,458.
