Abstract

Online social work students are “tech-forward" and uniquely positioned to serve as leaders in social work and healthcare technology. To be effective advocates and practitioners, social workers must understand how AI is used in clinical decision support, diagnosis, administrative cycle automation, personalized care, and patient engagement, and must also recognize ethical challenges. An asynchronous class session on AI in Healthcare aligned with EPAS 2022 learning objectives will be shared.
