Abstract
China has made impressive progress in improving technology access and technology integration at all educational levels. The purpose of this study is to examine Chinese high school students’ attitudes toward technology integration in math learning and their reported technology use in and outside the classroom. Data were collected from 233 11th and 12th grade students in China. Preliminary findings indicate that students have moderate confidence in their mathematics competence and technology competence and hold slightly positive attitudes toward the use of technology for learning math. Perceived benefits of technology use include expanding knowledge horizon, understanding complex math functions with geometric graphs, practical applications of math content to solve real life problems, exploring math concepts deeply by math modelling, etc. Authors
