Abstract

35-minute long film incorporating both theatrical performance and dance into a cross-mediated meditation on the life and legacy of Henrietta Lacks. I produced and directed the film on which Holly Holsinger served as co-director and supervisor of the theatrical performance, Lynn Deering choreographed the dance sequences, and Adrienne Gosselin wrote the script and secured funding. The film will now be submitted to festivals, be available for viewing on the web site of author Rebecca, Skloot, and be used for a variety of educational purposes.
